Each week, read or listen to the assigned section from the Book of Colossians, print or copy the Single Paragraph Outline, and use it to plan the response. Then, neatly copy the final paragraph onto the second page. All assignments must be complete and turned in on the Thursday after Labor Day.

 

All assignments must be handwritten with sentence structure

and vocabulary appropriate to your grade level.

 

 

Colossians 1:1-8 ~ Jesus Is the Good News! 

 

Big Idea: Jesus is the best news ever, and we should keep learning about Him!

 

Discussion Questions:
    •    What is the “good news” about Jesus?
    •    Why do you think Paul wanted to remind the church about Jesus again?

    •    Who do you like to tell good news to?

Big Idea: Paul prayed that the people would learn more about God and do good things.

Big Idea: Don’t let anything take your eyes off Jesus.
