EDUCATION FREEDOM ACCOUNTS
This funding is available for ALL Arkansas families!!!
FAMILIES ALREADY RECEIVING EFA FUNDING
Beginning Monday, March 9, families who log in to ClassWallet will see a pop-up message immediately upon logging in that reads “Action Required: Pending Survey.”
Families will have two options:
- Complete Now
- Remind Me Later
If you select “Remind Me Later,” you may continue your ClassWallet session as usual. However, the same pop-up will appear each time you log in until the survey is completed or the renewal deadline passes on June 1, 2026.
Families with Multiple Accounts
Families with multiple students participating in the EFA program will need to complete a separate renewal survey for each student. When you switch between student accounts in ClassWallet, you will be prompted with the survey pop-up for the currently selected student. Because of this, it is important that you confirm which student account you are logged into before completing the survey, as you will be asked to enter information specific to that student, including:
- The student’s grade level for next year
- The school the student plans to attend
If needed, you may switch to another student account, complete that student’s survey, and return later to complete the survey for the student whose account they logged into originally.
Completing the Survey
If you select “Complete Now,” you will be redirected to the survey site where you will:
- Answer the renewal survey questions
- Indicate the student’s grade and school for the upcoming school year
- Submit the survey
Please note:
- All questions are required.
- The survey cannot be submitted unless every question is answered. There is an error message that will show you the questions left unanswered when you try to submit.
- Families may exit the survey before finishing, but your answers will not be saved, and you will be prompted to complete the survey again the next time you log in.
A SURVEY MUST BE COMPLETED FOR EACH STUDENT WHO WAS APPROVED FOR THE EFA PROGRAM THIS YEAR, IF YOU WISH TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM NEXT YEAR!
WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO COMPLETE EARLY REVEWAL!
We are encouraging families to complete the renewal survey as soon as possible to help ensure your place in the program for the upcoming school year!
* If your family participated in the 2025-26 school year and needs to add a new student for the upcoming year, you should log into FACTS with your credentials from last year.
If your family needs to update contact information, we will provide instructions for doing so later this year.
New Students for 2026–27
As a reminder, the renewal survey is only for students who have previously been approved for the EFA program. Any new students who plan to participate in EFA for the first time next year must complete an application through FACTS. The application will be available March 9th at: http://arkansasefa.com
What documents are required for a new applicant?
1. Residency Verification: One form of verification matching the physical address and name of the applicant and/or co- applicant as listed on the application. Approved documents include:
· Driver’s License or State Issued ID
· Utility Bills (Gas, Electric, Water, Trash Collection)
· Government/ Govt. Agency-Issued Mail (TANF, SNAP, voter registration card, tax assessments, etc.)
· Rental or Lease Agreement/ Mortgage Statements
· Military Orders
Document must be the full bill, page, or document showing dates confirming it is recent and not expired.
2. Age Verification: One form legal documentation for the student’s date of birth. The document must match the student’s name as listed on the application. Approved documents may include:
· Passport (Country of origin is not a factor)
· Birth Certificate (Country of origin is not a factor)
· Driver’s License or State issued ID
· Immunization Records
· Adoption decrees/foster paperwork
* If you are a new family brand new to the program and unsure if you have an existing FACTS account, choose the “Create New Account” option. When you enter your email address, FACTS will let you know if there is already an account associated with your email.
