K-5th Grade

"I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth." 3 John 1:4

Academics are important, but so is encouraging a close walk with the Lord. Every elementary class has a designated Bible time and they attend a weekly chapel service. Their mornings begin with the pledges and prayer.

We strive to enrich their education as much as possible. During the 2016-2017 school year, every Monday each class attends a special library time where they are able to enjoy our school library. They use the time to catch up on the AR (Accelerated Reading) books, take an AR test, check out new books, read Scholastic periodicals, or enjoy literature lessons. Tuesdays are music days and are taught how to play Boomwhackers, handbells, and recorders. A Christmas program displaying these instruments is done, too. Students are taught how to read music, understand musical notations, and more. Wednesdays they enjoy art day where they are taught about various artist and art styles. Painting and drawing get to happen, too! Thursdays are computer lab day where each class grows their typing skills, work on Word Processing details, and practice coding. Friday is P.E. day.

Soccer and cheer are offered for Kindergarten and up.

We also participate with in-school 4H clubs. These are offered for Kindergarten and up.

Archery and basketball is offered for 4th grade and up.
